Shes Back

The days dragged, the clock seemed to take ages to move, finally after much heart ache my baby’s back at home with me, When i saw her today its like we had never been apart, her curvy sleek black body, those stunning humps on her bodywork , sleekness yet close up you could see that she packed power, oh it was good to touch her again it really was, i was a happy man, I thought I’m going to give you a good ride this afternoon, there was glint from her as if she had read my mind. We had been apart for nearly a month; there had been some tough choices that had to be made over the past month, and some soul searching. It was a painful separation, but it was all over now, the past month was gone, it was history, no doubt we had both done things that we had regretted but we were back as one together That’s my bike im talking about Well it’s true my Beloved BMW bike is back, after major surgery, New Clutch, assembly, new rear damper assembly a 60,000 mile service and a MOT she’s back Oh and i had to fill her up as she was bone dry, so 21 litres of shells finest and it was on with my Shoei, plug in the MP3 Player warm up the engine and see what i had been missing for the past 4 plus weeks, and it well worth the wait, and the small fortune it cost me. But every penny was worth it, the new clutch really makes the difference, and with a new damper and harder spring the ride is much more firm, when cornering there is no squatting when accelerating out of a corner. But the most satisfying thing was the fact that it was pleasure to drive past the saps sat in there cars in the traffic as just filter through, oh the joys of owning a bike. ECHO11
