Rotor Rash

Yesterday i was Knackered, set off for work feeling dog tired and really did not get any better, anyway whilst cleaning down the rotor on the GT system at work, i cranked around the rotor without thinking and managed to ram two titanium prongs through my finger, oh joy, even better having just done that i then had to crank the rotor back so i had space to remove my now very sore finger. See these pins get covered in Isopropanol Alcohol, Mentholated Spirits, Carbon Carbon grease, as well as the wax coating coming off the Mylar film stock. Once i had removed the bits of skin/flesh off the Cam pins, i laced it up, did not really feel much pain at the start, but god it hurt later on. Fortunately i was leaving at 15:00, so with a nice hole in the side of my finger and it swelling i then had to try and ride home. This was fun as you need to use your left hand to pull the clutch in, not easy with your middle finger of you left hand giving me stick. I thought id pop by A&E to get it checked over. Arrival at A&E was a shock they have rebuilt the whole place, now you have to take a ticket and wait your turn, Well after a brief 10 min wait i got to see the Nurse and then Doctor who then had it X-rayed, and then told me had a small fracture in the middle section of my finger. With that the wound was washed in Iodine, which trust me hurt much more than running the cam unit into my finger, Dressed it up and taped my fingers together., Managed to get a quick Picture with my Camera of the x-ray, not very good really but then again its only ever going to be Black and white.

Not really much to see on the X-Ray, but you can see on the middle finger just before the finger tip joint there is a white mass, well its in that area. Its hurting now i know that.
