A Grand Day Out
It’s always great to be able to be off when Dana is not so busy, so we went up town and after dealing with untold phone calls from Another IMAX Cinema, so a big thanks to my guys for dealing with untold phone calls from me asking for parts. After a nice fresh up of coffee at the local Coffee outlet, During said coffee i was telling Dana that my bike Jacket was about as much good as a string vest last night as it has more holes than material, so i got thinking i reckon ive had that jacket 18 – 20 Years so it owes me nothing, and its been battered, ripped, stood on, all the Velcro has long gone, the back was help together with numerous different colours of gaffer tape and has properly seen more motorways, A roads, Streets and petrol stations than the rest of you put together. So i had a look at a new bike shop that’s been opened a few months right next to Mc D’s which is always good. Tried on a few crash helmets, but they did not have my size and whilst walking out we saw these great new jackets, so when i tried on the first one in fitted like a glove it was a deal.
I know how can you get so excited over a new jacket, well see my old Baleno has served me very well, but it was the late 80’s when i had that, and way back then it was very high tech and had three pockets oh yes three pockets, well my new one has pockets on the front X 4, a phone pocket, and wallet pocket, 3 x inside and 2 at the back, as well as built in body armour. Scott leathers are the manufactures and i have to say it nice. So im all ready for the snow that was promised last night and when i got up this morning expecting snow, there was nothing.
I can absolute guarantee that there is nothing like riding a bike in snow. Nothing focuses your mind, whilst selling to save your life.
Have fun and drive carefully if it’s snowing
