What is this world coming 2

Today i took my bike in for its service, whilst waiting outside i noticed that the Whole Bike shop, forecourt and surrounding area now has some pretty substantial security fencing around it, Anti Ram raid bars on the front of the gates and metal gates that as absolutely massive.

Upon entering the Showroom/Service area, i noticed all the clothing had gone, When i asked the Janet the Service assist where all the clothing had gone, I was told they have to pack everything away in a secured rooms to stop the clothing being stolen on a night, can you imagine what a real ball ache that must be ever night, I was told they once left something out and the yobs shall we say smashed there way and stole it.

Have we now emerged into world where we have to do such drastic things to ensure we still have a premises to operate from, this motor bike shop looks more like a prison than a bike shop.
