Its been a while bloggers so a update is well over due, a busy week has passed last week it was Imax service, although we had a “North American” engineer with us, going against the norm we started at 05:00, so at 04:45 on Thursday morning i watched a demented cab driver drive past Dantzic Street 3 times, it's not as if we are a small building, which was a good start, so during the disassembly of the rotor head i was casually chatting with the Engineer, and it turns out he rides motorcycles, well the truth is its Harley Davidson, now don’t get me wrong they are nice bikes but when you get talking about buying some performance parts for your bike, I’m saying id like some cast alloy wheels powder coated, and he says he wants leather saddle bags !!!!.That match his leather chaps, its clear we are different bikers thank god.

Friday morning started off with a mass gathering of Me the engineer, Softhands and Funkymonkeyman to remove a $25,000 collection mirror, when the “Chap Wearing engineer” says Oh you don’t need to replace it, we opt to do a yet another pump rebuild, to stop the water leak, this goes well, apart from we ran out of containers for the water, Its special water as is everything with Imax, anyway we drain all this water out into containers, bottles, kettles , once the pump is rebuilt we start to pour the water back in, it then we realise that that the valve and pipe are still connected and the very precious water is running down the drain, anyhoo it all gets sorted and all is good, until Monday when i discover the bloody thing is still leaking , so me and Cinemec have the pleasure of trying to find this leak tomorrow morning.

it’s on C4 now but got it in HD to run on our new super duper 37” LCD TV , Spent ages looking around, but finally settled on a Samsung chassed model then i spent ages looking for cable and an Optical switcher so i can go 3 optical inputs in 1 output.

so all is good now, my god LCD makes CRT look like the 1960’s TV, should have done it ages ago, my next thing i want to buy is a nice AV Receiver.

One of the projects i have running at the moment is to write a facilities manual for the managers, basically its a “How Hell Do I Do This” book, I’ve been taking lots of HD photos as I’m hoping to run it from a DVD/CD to save on paper, on Monday i find out that Rowland and his mates have moved into our sub basement and have set up home and he and his in-laws are well and truly entrenched in there, i here that war was going to commence today as they were about to be evicted. As mentioned i was taking Photos and walked into the imax booth to find someone sprawled out over two chairs, chatting on the phone and it looked like he playing with his pocket stress balls.
