Another Week Over

It’s been very long week, when you take a weekend off you end up doing a 6 day stint which really does tire me out,

Caught a fascinating documentary on the Beeb called One Like –Above enemy lines, about the RAF in Afghanistan, I really was up to join the RAF when I was at school, failed on my Eye Sight never known I could have been there, well it showed in no uncertain terms what its like over there, with the chinnock helicopter pilots. The narrative states it takes around 30 Mins to get a Chinnock up and running with pre-flights, they had a call to media-vac a young solider who had been shot, they had that Helicopter up in the air in 11 Mins there is a shot of the pilot just rattling through the switches and gauges, in places its funny, listen to the American brief the troops, and other places it just makes you wonder why we are out there. Brave People for sure, would you fly a machine that big into an area where you where for sure going to be shot at, They had Gun ships as protection, but at one stage the Chinnock is flying that fast it outruns the Apaches attack helicopter sent to protect it.

PGR4 arrived yesterday and it been worth the wait, played PGR3 all the time, and 4 it’s so much better, weather, tracks, Vehicles so many different things.
