You know they say that 2/3
rds of an iceberg is under water, so a few weeks ago i noticed that my rear tyre was losing pressure, upon closer inspection it seems there was a nail stuck in the tyre, the last thing you want to do is to remove the nail as it wont seal, and with the tyres having done 14800 Miles and had really lost there grip.
Bridgestone have some new tyres out now call “Battlewing”, don’t know where they get these names, but you have to given them kudos for coming up with such great names
So I had a ride down to my friends at TST tyres today the choice was the Michelin which hate with a passion as I can not get any feedback from them, some people swear by them I swear at them, so ive been using Bridgestone’s , They used to be Trailwing and now as Mentioned above they now have a Battlewing
Rear Tyre showing the small Nail in the tread pattern, notice how far that tyre has been leaned over , very close to the edge
As i said like an Iceberg where 2/3rds are below the surface, take a look at the length of this bugger, no wonder i was losing tyre pressure.
Oh Baby look how deep those tread Patterns are
If you look on the sides the tyres they are much more rounded, which means i can lean over much more on corners and not fall off the side or roll the tyre off the rims, Which i'll admit has happend a few times.
