Credit to you

This week has been surreal, ive been running around like a blue arsed fly most of the week, but it’s a spectacular week as my eldest Son is 14 Tomorrow and its 19 Years tomorrow that I meet Dana, Jake was born 5 Years to the day that we meet.

Tuesday morning I was called to the office to be shown an email that was P&C , we then had a conference call with California regarding the event today,

The Smashing Pumpkins were coming in to see there film, it was very rough edited but looked good and sounded good,

The original plan was to run it off DVC HDCAM player, so we hired all the gear in, set it all up and tested it, however when the tapes turned up there was nothing at all, so we can only guess that the tapes had been wiped by the Xray machines or some Magnetic system as all 12 tapes were blank, We then opted to use the laptop, which then had the worst unbalanced hum id heard in a long time, but it was a challenge and we did it, the tour manager and editor were happy. We ran the many clips and then go to meet the band who to be honest looked knackered and properly just wanted to go shopping have dinner and go back the hotel, but credit to them they thanked us.Please note the super high Tech Cardboard box holding the very expensive laptop

And heres the best bit I, Funkymonkeyman and our engineer are getting a credit on the film, how cool is that. properly one of the best endings to a week in a long time, and tomorrow will be great i cant believe its been 14 Years, 13:46 , 14th February 1994 my life changed for the better and its not stopped since.
