Back in the Mid to Late 90’s I used to be in Contact with a absolutely brilliant Graphic Designer, Apart from living with a complete “Psycho Hose Beast” He used to work with my wife and they were both into Comics, Same films all the normal stuff Anyway in 1994 when I got married not only was he there to give me such fantastic support during my Big Day he also did me a hand drawn wedding card, Yesterday i was cleaning out a room when we found this card, I said to Dana i wonder what Andy’s doing now. Last night i sat down a thought about it, I think the last time id seen him was around 1996 maybe 1997 anyway we sort of lost contact, I had often wondered what he was upto, and i have say it was a great shame to have lost contact, all i remember was Andy moving to Bristol to write and draw his own comics and that’s about all i could remember.
With a cup of coffee at hand i set about seeing if i could find anything about him, i fired up the trusty “IE” [Don’t start me with the FireFox Nerds], and after about 5 mins of searching i found SCAR Comics, I looked through the web page and found his name, i took the plunge and dropped them an Email, nothing ventured, nothing gained, today i got a reply, and it was from Andy. I have to say its been the best thing this year by far, so much has passed yet it was so good to speak to him.
Trust me People you can never underestimate the power of the Internet.
