Harmonization Blues
Over the past 20 months two companies have merge to be called “New Odeon”, during this time ive been actively involved on the Terms and Conditions, Pay and numerous other areas, Well last week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday there were meeting Monday was with the Work Shy Fobs from BECTU, Tuesday the meeting was with the Southern team and Wednesday the Northern teams,
As per usual it was a day off so i slep in to meet the Operational Manager all in all most of my team came out pretty ok, however ive sort of been shafted, ive been “RED RINGED” which means no pay rise, see People that’s what you get when you work your way up the corporate ladder, only to find its too short.
So we have begun consultation, i had mine with my GM on Friday, and it’s all my teams in the next few weeks
However we have been winding the other side up big time, they have a forum online which me and my work colleagues have great joy posting various sarcastic comments to them.
So time will tell, Ive pitched my plea to my GM.
